Lindsey has worked as a professional dramaturg for more than fifteen years, contributing to over forty productions across new-play development, regional theatre, university theatre, and large-scale commercial tours. Her dramaturgical work has included collaborations with Everyman Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, the National Theatre, Open Circle Theatre, NextStop Theatre, and other companies.

Her practice encompasses production dramaturgy, new-play development, script consultation and evaluation, actor and creative-team research, audience engagement, program materials, talkbacks, and other forms of production-facing dramaturgical work. Across these contexts, she approaches dramaturgy as a collaborative practice of inquiry: identifying the questions that matter to a production and finding the forms of research, analysis, and conversation that can best serve the artists and audiences involved.
